ast week was my final full week of eating clean! My 30 days are over on Wednesday! I won’t say that it flew by but it definitely got easier. And there’s a few things that I will continue to do moving forward — like brown rice pasta and cauliflower chips. I’ve also recently discovered soy based cheese and cassava flour which has been life changing 🙌🏼. I mean I was able to eat a quesadilla last week and it was delicious!

On a completely different note, I worked on gift guides all week — which you’ve all received. I’ll be doing two more this week so keep an eye out on Tuesday and Thursday. In case you missed them, so far there’s a Gift Guide for the Person Who Has Everything and a The Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide for Her.

best sellers

Button Front Suede Skirt — another week this skirt was a top seller. it’s so perfect for fall; you can see how I styled it here.

Fuzzy Zip-Up Jacket — this jacket is sooooo soft! I was super impressed with the quality because it’s also so afforable. I styled it with shorts here and with a leather skirt here.

Leather Charger Roll Up — one of my gift ideas for the person who has everything. This organizer is perfect for holding all the cords while traveling or even just in your everyday bag!

old navy try-on

Old Navy is having their Epic November Deals right now which includes a Friends and Family discount of 30% off or 50% for cardholders! Since i haven’t shopped Old Navy in years, I had to get in the store to try stuff on. Below you’ll find some of my favorite finds — some of them might have come home with me too.

For sizing, I find I typically wear a small or 4 at other retailers, but with Old Navy I was definitely an extra small and size 2. Everything I tried on was in those sizes unless I specify below.

This coat gives me all the Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl vibes and I’m here for it! It’s such a statement pieces and because of the colors it can still be so versatile.

sweater | tank | leggings (nordstrom) | shoes

This sweater reminds me so much of the Madewell Kent cardigan but it’s like a quarter of the price! It comes in super fun colors and it’s so soft; perfect for layering over anything. And you bet I took this tank home with me. Its such a great length for leggings and a great material. Plus, you can’t beat that price!

super soft top | knit joggers | thermal pajamas | long sleeve top

I live in loungewear and right now I’m obsessed with joggers — these super soft ones are perfect. They are basically like a cuter classic sweat pant so what’s not to love!? The knit joggers are another great classic jogger style. And if you are the type to love Christmas pajamas, I highly recommend the thermal ones from Old Navy. They come in so many fun patterns (plus matching tops) and they are a great fit!

But can we talk about this top…I wanted it in every color! I took the off-white (featured above) home with me because it’s a great basic — this material is to die for because it’s so cozy and soft! I did this in a size small for a looser fit.

I actually took this jean jacket home with me! I did a size small in this and love the fit — the reviews online did not life. It’s such a classic style at a very affordable price. This tank is the same style as the previous white one just in a polka dot version.

sweater | scarf | jeans | shoes

I bought this cardigan online a few weeks ago but it was too big, so I went back for the extra small. It still runs a little big (I almost wish they had xxs) but it’s a cute relaxed fit. You can wear it buttoned up like a sweater, unbuttoned as a layering piece. Another style that comes in so many great colors. Also, I’m obsessed with this scarf. I didn’t buy it because i own so many scarves already, but the colors in this are so classic they would go with everything.

And these jeans! I took these home for sure. They were under $40 and fit like a glove! Plus, this particular style has some kind of warming technology on the inside that keeps you nice and toasty — perfect for wearing in the cold winter months!

stripe sweatshirt | red sweatshirt | jeans | shoes

I love me a classic sweatshirt and this style is perfect; the red one is now in my closet. I never usually buy this color but as soon as I put it on I had to have it — plus it says “All For Love” so I mean, duh.

These shoes are a great neutral that go with everything — exactly why I picked them for this try-on.

If you need new button down shirts, head to Old Navy. They have so many different patterns from classic plaid to this mini check and they are all under $30.

top | scarf | coat| jeans | shoes

This long sleeve is the same as the white one I tried on with the joggers but I love this little stripe detail. I can’t get over this material — reminds me of Athleta it’s that good. Again,I sized up to a small in this. If you don’t own a scarf in this plaid yet, get this one. You can pair it with every color because it has almost every color in it; so versatile.

This coat. One of the reasons I wanted to go into the store. This coat was 50% off and so worth it! It’s almost identical to the J. Crew Lodge Coat but it’s a fraction of the cost. Also comes in black too.

yellow sweater | textured sweater | jeans | shoes

They had so many great sweaters! These were two of my favorites. The yellow sweater is more of a classic sweater and the material was great, not itchy at all. The white sweater has little ball detail and is so cute! Now I’m wishing I had taken this one home with me.

Another amazing coat — this one I actually ordered online awhile back and had to exchange for the extra small. I’ve been looking for a grey coat for so long and I’m happy I waited for this one!

recipes we tried

Steak Fajitas — I shared this recipe in stories this week because it was just too good to wait! We’ve searched for so long for the best Mexican steak recipe and I think we finally found it.

Turkey Burgers — Jamie just made patties with ground turkey, seasoned them with seasoning salt and topped them with cheese (and in my case, fake cheese).

BBQ Chicken Salad — one of my favorite salads of all time. We do a version of Ree Drummond’s Cowboy Chopped Salad using lettuce, black beans, corn, tomatoes, cheese, tortilla chips and chicken.
