How is it seriously already May!? So crazy — time just goes by way too fast. Do you have any fun plans for the Summer? We have been terrible at keeping up with our one trip a month so we definitely have some catching up to do! We skipped March and April, so looks like we’ll have to plan two trips per month coming up so we make up for it 😝. We’re also trying to plan birthday trips which I’m really hoping we can pull off. Right now those are looking like Nashville, Aruba or New York City. So we’ll see.

fruit and chocolate dessert board

We had a wine night on Friday where everyone brought a bottle of wine and some kind of food to share. Since I love to do all food on boards, I created an antipasto platter (which I will share at a later date 😉) and Tanya wanted to do a dessert. She found a fruit and chocolate board on Pinterest that was so gorgeous we decided to recreate it.

This was our first attempt, and it was a rushed job I might add, but it turned out really pretty! I love the pops of color that the mint brings — and the berries are a delicious compliment chocolate.

Here’s what we used:

  • Ghiradelli Chocolate Squares: mint, raspberry, caramel, dark chocolate

  • Fruit: grapes, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries

  • Nuts: pistacchio, almonds, candied pecans, truffle marcona almonds

You can really use any combination of fruit, chocolate and nuts to create a beautiful (and delicious) dessert platter for any occasion.
